For the past ten years, Koen Galle has unearthed countless stories about Belgium's rich electronic music and nightlife scene. The avid writer is an expert by experience. He got bitten by the dance music bug in the late nineties, eventually making a name for himself as a club and radio DJ. Over time, he became captivated by the history of his culture.

In 2014 he published the book ‘The Vinyl Frontier’ in collaboration with Red Bull Belgium, showing the private collections of famous Belgian diggers. In 2018 he set up ‘Brusseleir Digger’, an exhibition in ING Art Center Brussels during Listen Festival. In 2020 Koen Galle founded the content platform ‘Our Scene’ for Listen Festival, where he interviews Belgium's finest tastemakers in electronic music and beyond. In 2021 he created the publishing house ‘Afterclub’ and presented ‘Missing The Club’, a book written in the midst of the Covid pandemic. In 2023 he presented the complete flyer archive in book form by iconic Belgian house DJ Smos & Baby Bee. Expected for the end of 2024 is a book about the history of Fuse, the iconic nightclub celebrating its 30th birthday.

Koen is also active as a DJ (Kong DJ), runs a record label (Hi Scores) and has a passion for long distance running.
