Why did we bring this into our collection?  These super fun little books are aimed at nostalgic souls. You might have seen them already — they were first distributed in 2018 by Colpa Press, an independent publisher from San Francisco. I’ve seen them pop up often, in bookstores and record shops all over the world. They stand out thanks to their colorful design and simple concept: nine booklets, each with its own color and a look at the flyer culture of a city. Nothing more: no explanations, no sources, not even a colophon. But that doesn’t matter. They’re collector’s items. The true fans own the full set, but most people have one or a few on their shelf. To flip through now and then. They also make the perfect gift. Always packaged in plastic wrap. Now reissued!
